I'm blunt by nature.
I prefer to deal with blunt people.
I figure if you give it to me straight,I may be hurt or angry but I'll get over it and we'll move on.
Today a friend of mine had the opportunity to be honest about something but instead chose to lie.
I knew it was a lie.
My friend knew it was a lie.
This person didn't know that I knew it was a lie.
I could have gone along with the lie but I opted to tell the truth.
I felt really good.
Lies are hard to remember, at least for me.
Honesty is the best policy - maybe not always but most times.
I am glad I told the truth and today I'm grateful for honesty.
